Welcome to Gardening with Helen.
Helen is a horticulturalist and gardening writer living in an obscure part of the world renowned for its natural beauty. That place is Australia’s island state, Tasmania. Helen loves to garden and Helen loves to write. She has written such a lot of magazine articles and various books, fiction and non-fiction, gardening and non-gardening. Finally this blog is happening, so she can go free form. Don’t expect the usual gardening info, there are plenty of sites and books and mags for that. This is Gardening with Helen. She also has a habit of photographing flowers… Hope someone likes whatever it is that evolves here – it will be a rambling garden of words, of that you can be sure! Let me know if you enjoy it, and if you have any gardening questions, try me.

Dear Helen,
Best of luck with this blog. I saw your thing about nasuturtiums being like teenagers – which made me smile. I have mine under control and this is how I do it. Everyday I take a garden salad to work and every day I take every new N flower bud for it. There never seems to be enough. Upshot being that they don’t take over the place and spill red wine all over the carpets when i am out. XXX Adrian
That is a very witty comment! Do you still need kale seedlings? They are coming up everywhere again…
I’d love a copy of the book, if you have any left.
HI,
yes, no problem, I have copies for sale.
